Through Europe in a minibus..

Monday evening and Im sitting in the backseat of our mini bus seeing parts of North Europe passing by!

What a ”talk issue” the Iceland vulcano started up, people, media, tv – headlines after headlines! We at Bolon who was stranded in Milan took these bad news with no stress, with the attitude – we will solve it!Exactly what we did, we arranged with some colleagues to pick us up Monday evening. Now it’s Tuesday evening and we will soon be entering Denmark, then Sweden and our home town Ulricehamn by midnight! Can’t wait! What I noticed is that people are getting more connected during ”difficult moments” we want to help, people support each other – that is my reflection now in Milan with all transports issues due to all airlines cancellations, it’s a nice human reaction! Imagine that attitude always, a warm thought!Anyway, our Milano week 2010 is over and we counted a really good number of visitors in our stand. We already received inquiries for projects and the networking with possible future designer friends is already on the go..One of the highlights of last week was to see the highest building in Italy which is being built right now in Milan – Lombardia Government building – and to know that they are about to install 80 000 m2 of Bolon Antracite Tiles. Impressive!!

Our mini bus who took us safely back home to Sweden

A sketch over the impressive Lombardia Government building which will be ready next year covered by Bolon flooring on each floor!
